For those who carry others
Leadership & Ministry Care
Leadership and ministry care is confidential, Christ-centered support for pastors, ministry leaders, and the helpers who carry the weight of others. Dr. Lori Dunn offers a safe place to set down the load — to be poured into rather than only poured out — and to tend your own heart, marriage, and calling.
Who cares for the caregiver?
Those who lead and serve often have the fewest safe places to be honest. The expectations are high, the loneliness is real, and the temptation is to keep pouring out long after the well has run dry. Burnout, quiet discouragement, and isolation are far more common than anyone admits from the platform.
Leadership and ministry care exists to give shepherds a shepherd — a confidential space, free of agenda, where you don’t have to have it together. Here you can process the weight you carry, tend old wounds, and reconnect with the One who called you.
It’s care for the whole leader: your soul, your relationships, and your calling.

What to expect
A confidential place to be poured into
Sessions are private, online, and held in strict confidence within ethical and legal limits we’ll explain up front. There’s no performance here — just space to be honest about how you’re really doing.
We tend the practical weight of leadership and the deeper places beneath it. Compassionate care brings perspective; inner healing prayer invites God to restore what ministry has worn thin. Dr. Dunn understands this world from the inside, serving in ministry leadership herself.
The goal isn’t just to keep you functioning — it’s to help you, and those you love, truly thrive.
Common questions
Questions about leadership & ministry care
Is this confidential? I’m in a public role. +
Yes. What you share is held in strict confidence within the bounds of ethics and law, which Dr. Dunn explains clearly before you begin. It is a safe place to be fully honest.
Do you understand ministry from the inside? +
Yes. Dr. Dunn serves in ministry leadership and on faculty in a doctoral counseling program, and walks regularly with pastors, leaders, and helpers who carry others.
Is this counseling or spiritual direction? +
It draws on both — faith-based pastoral support for the heart and inner healing prayer for restoration. It is pastoral care, not licensed clinical therapy, and works alongside any clinical support you may need.
